Helium Down Jacket
The Helium Down Jacket is not only a classical item, but also by far my most used outdoor product. I basically use it for everything, whether it’s alpine skiing, skitouring, on cold summer hikes or freezing cold days, for city trips, and in my daily life. It’s great for layering, too. I always take it with me, no matter whether it’s to the desert of Namibia or for a trip to the alps. I wash it once a year after ski season and it is still doing great after 6 years of heavy usage.
Norda
I’ve finally found them in my size – they’re perfect if you want to pack just one shoe and do it all. A fancy looking shoe for the city that’s also great for running, hiking, or trailrunning. When I’m traveling for work, I mostly focus on packing camera gear and as little as possible clothing. This one makes my life way easier.
Patagonia Packing Cubes
I bought them about five years ago and I’ll never travel without them again. I have them in every size and in multiple quantities, so I can organise my packing when going on a trip – for suitcases, big duffle bags or even a backpack when you do overnight trekking to mountain huts. I’m always impressed how much fits in them. The smaller pouches work perfectly for cables, hard drives, camera batteries, and gear. The material is also super easy to clean, so they still look pretty new.
Nalgene
I have lots of water bottles at home and I also love my isolated YETI a lot, but my Nalgene is the one I mostly take with me. On mountain hikes or for traveling – it’s weight and volume that counts.
Leica MP
As a photographer, I barely go somewhere without a camera. When I’m out there, I love bringing my Leica MP 35mm. It’s my everything and I never want to miss out on the opportunity to take a nice picture of a breathtaking mountain scenery.
