The mountains are for everyone. Meet Maria, Hannah and Helen, members of Black Canary, as they attempt what they have never done before, to summit a mountain.
Black Canary is an outdoor club for black women and non-binary people based in Berlin and Munich. It was founded by Tsellot Melesse through a desire to empower her community and inspire more people to get outdoors, and to experience the sense of freedom she finds when exploring the mountains.
Maria, Hannah and Helen have very little experience with mountaineering or outdoor adventure sports. Now, they are heading from Berlin to Bishorn for a unique adventure.
Driven by their desire to increase representation and diversity within the outdoors space, they are prepared to fight their fears, push beyond their comfort zones and with the support from each other, put their all into this challenge.
